Reposado (rested) tequila is aged in wood barrels from two to 12 months. These tequilas keep their fruit and floral flavors, but pick up the additional nuances of caramel and butterscotch that the wood will impart. These tequilas, while excellent when mixed, can also be enjoyed neat.
